| The following projects are the work of students enrolled in weB deSign, a Special Topics course offered by the School of Library and Information Studies at Texas Woman's University, Spring 1999. The class included first semester undergraduate through All But Dissertation Doctoral students who came together from a variety of disciplines, including Library Science, Mass Communications, Health Studies, Art, Computer Science, Eductional Administration, and Criminal Justice, and with varying levels of information, computer, and web experience. Students met on campus seven times: every other Saturday for six hours, and worked together extensively online between classes using electronic bulletin board, distributed email, and web technologies on multiple platforms: VMS, PC, & MAC. |

Group projects provide students an opportunity to work as a weB deSign TEAM, rather than together in person and online, as with the individual projects above. Projects were assigned and completed in the final four hour lab.
